kelse is a 26-year-old model based in dallas, texas. she’s a laid-back, adventurous girl who loves traveling, fashion, beauty, and experiencing new things. when she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with friends, exploring new places, and working toward her future career in nursing. she’s all about enjoying life, making memories, and becoming the best version of herself!

you were part of the skinikinis x shvisions collab this year during miami swim week, what was your favorite moment from the experience, and what made this shoot stand out from other projects you’ve been part of?

Honestly, the entire experience was so much fun! It was actually my first beach photoshoot, which made it even more special! The energy was amazing, and we even had a little rain during the shoot! Funny enough, I actually loved it because it gave my hair that effortless wet look. It was definitely a memorable first beach shoot!

what was it like bringing this collab to life, and what do you hope people feel when they see the photos and videos?

It was such a fun experience getting to bring everything together, especially with the beautiful Miami beach as our backdrop! I hope when people see the photos and videos, they feel the same fun, carefree, and confident energy we had while shooting. That’s what I love about skinikinis—feeling cute, confident, and sexy af! I hope it inspires women to embrace their inner and outer sexiness because we all have it in our own way!!

was there a moment during miami swim week that made you laugh, surprised you, or ended up being a favorite memory?

One of my favorite memories was definitely the excitement right before stepping onto the runway! I definitely had the pre show jitters but everyone was awesome and the outfits I modeled were so cute! The second I stepped onto that runway, all the nerves turned into excitement. It was such a fun experience, and I’d do it all over again!

what inspired you to start modeling?

I wanted to be a model since I was a young girl I would watch Victoria secret fashion shows and when nobody was home I would steal my moms heels and walk around in any cute outfit I could put together that looks like sexy and fashionable and catwalk around the house hahaha! I had a model scout discover me when I was 13 but my parents didn’t let me do it. Now I’m an adult and I’ve just figured out how to get into modeling a year ago and I just love it because I feel confident and beautiful and it’s art to me posing for shoots styling different pieces it’s an amazing way to express myself!

besides hanging out in bikinis, what else do you do?

I love traveling, exploring new places, trying new restaurants, and anything beauty or fashion related!

what’s something people don’t usually expect about you?

Something people might not expect about me is that I love martial arts and can actually break boards!

is there any recent accomplishment you are most proud of?

One of my proudest accomplishments is moving to Texas with my sister! We left behind our family and the only hometown we’d ever known in Kansas, with no jobs, barely any money, and just a dream of creating a better life for ourselves. Looking back at how far we’ve come and seeing us build a life we never had back home is something I’ll always be proud of. We took a huge leap of faith, and it’s been so worth it!

what’s next for you?

Definitely more traveling, modeling opportunities, and exciting experiences! I’m also focused on continuing my education and working toward my nursing career. I’m excited to see what the future brings and just want to keep growing, trying new things, and enjoying the journey!

My celebrity crush is definitely Henry Cavill he’s just so dreamy and all his roles in movies are perfect!! I want him to be the next James Bond for sure!
